I noticed that driving my son's cars.Honestly, I've had two BMWs. And I would seriously catch myself not using the blinkers. It's no joke. Something about those cars turns off the need to use blinkers. I can't explain it.
Am now BMW-free.
BMW, I do a little work on,I feel the same way about BMW's. My son owns two and I will not touch them.
However, I still own a Mercedes product. A Chrysler Crossfire, which is pure Mercedes corrupted only by a hood badge that says Chrysler. Oddly enough, no Chrysler dealer should ever come close to one, and they don't. And most Mercedes dealers will not let me on the lot.
I do not touch those, get sent down the road to a friend of mine who loves working on those.Just wait until you have to do $2.00 oil seal between the block and the alternator bracket on an X5 4.8is. And any head work on the same. You'll never work on a BMW v8 again.
A leaf blower is your friend. I love my battery operated one but the battery life sucks in these temps. I pull out the Stihl backpack and can clear anything. We have about 6" from a storm that ended yesterday afternoon but a it's so light and fluffy a good fart could probably clear a path.
Had a talk with a customer's 17 year old daughter and I did get to her a little bit which will be one step at a time with her. Found out she was hanging with the wrong people thinking they are good friends and are not. Told her I was like that and realized I was going in the wrong path of life, thinking things over after I turned 18. Explained to her there was that road getting her to no where heading in the wrong direction more and the one thinking things over changing her life around in the right direction in life.
Mom was on me a lot and knew I had to change. One change was deciding I wanted to do something in my life,I feel the Marines changed my life around in a good way learning discipline and respect.Sounds like you would be great to have a talk with our adopted 18 yr old daughter. Same scenario. Already going to an alternative school to complete her high school one course at a time. Had a melt down last Tuesday because we told her we weren't going to drive her anymore to see her friends if she didn't keep her room cleaned and change her attitude. She blew up and left. We basically told her don't come home until she changes her attitude. My wife is going to meet her now in the city as she's been couch surfing for a week with no money whatsoever.

Glad you are feeling better . . .I feel a lot better today.
I'm not sure what I had, but I kicked it's ass.
Good thing because I'm due back at work on Friday.. night shift.
We got maybe 2" of new snow today, aside from what was already on the ground.
Deep chill coming soon to Ohio.
Thanks Bob.Glad you are feeling better . . .
It has been hovering between 7(F) and 10(F) here all day. You should have our temps by tomorrow morning.
Had to get my youngest older brother's truck to my place tonight, fuel pump module died in his 2006 F150 which I will have to order tomorrow morning and replace it. Also replace the left front wheel bearing, lot of play from it. He is one that ignores some things getting worse and I told him that it needs to stop
I left and told him to F off. I believe it was after I accused of him sexually assaulting me at age 17 which he did and nothing was done about it,cops and the prosecutor dropped it. He was 27 at the time and drunk when he did it.Meet him outside....
I cannot do thing to get him charged now, statue of limitations. Should of pushed it more, did and the prosecutor said there is nothing they could do about itDrunk is not an excuse. You're better then me; I'd make life miserable for him
There is no statute of limitations on your memory of the event. So, kick him in the balls. Guys like that are chicken sh!t. And he is an old man now. He'll never know what hit him.I cannot do thing to get him charged now, statue of limitations. Should of pushed it more, did and the prosecutor said there is nothing they could do about it
