Whats your weather like right now?

Something significant must be going on as there was also a 4.1 earthquake in Quebec north of Ottawa this morning.

Didn't last long ,maybe 5 seconds . As for the weather , 1.6 C heading to +7 with rain coming ,I wouldn't invest in a trail pass.......

I bought 2 passes last year. My sleds never left the trailer. I saved my money this year. All I know is this cold dampness is killing me. I've been hurting since opening my eyes this morning. Lower back flared up. No strength in my legs.

One of Toledo's meteorologist posted this on Facebook a while ago.

The real kicker is that two days ago it was +1 C. My body doesn't like extreme temperature changes. This morning, I got out of bed. Immediately felt burning in my lower back and tingling in both feet. Great. So that's what kind of day I'm gonna have. I have to go out to drive my son to work in a bit but then the plans are to park my butt in front of the fireplace.

I just went out to drive my son to work. The truck said -31c without the windchill. Thankfully I have remote start. I ran it for 15 minutes before even thinking about moving it but she fired up not plugged in having sat for a week.

-5 with a NW wind at 10 mph this morning here in WC Iowa. Hardly any snow left after the melt we had last week.
At least the mud is gone for now, frozen solid. :tiphat:

About the same here. The high today here in Spencer, IA is forecasted to be TWO BELOW ZERO!

-2 this morning
I don't know how you guys further north do it I'm talking an octave higher just putting the battery charger on my grandsons car

Went to -1F last night. Lost some plants in the green house. Peppers, Inpatients, tomatoes, Hibiscus. All were low and against the outside wall.

Everything hanging, or on shelves, is OK.

Today, despite the bright sun, not much heat for the house.

15 below zero this morning. Got all the way up to 12 today. Might be 20 below tonight. :(

It’s actually something you get used to. -30 with no wind isn’t bad and you have your equipment in good winter condition, the first cold snap generally shows you everything that you should have looked closer at. Winter would be ideal if it just stayed-10 during the day, nothing worse than mid winter thaws, that messes everything up big time. This winter has been weird, -30 one day and zero a day later, at least no long cold snaps yet, just 2-3 days at a time, but that also makes it harder to get climatized to the cold.

We're right on the edge of that winter storm that is moving across the south.

We had a cloudless blue sky but it was cold, not Arctic cold but cold enough for this Texas boy. It was 22°F this morning and got all the way up to freezing for a high. It's supposed to get even lower tonight, 15°F, but get up to 34°F tomorrow. It doesn't start to warm up again until the week-end.
