Whats your weather like right now?

The top of my hot tub enclosure was bare 2hrs ago. It was supposed to start this morning but instead came in like a vengeance. My son works at the airport loading baggage onto planes and directing them on the tarmac. There's a whole list of delayed flights he's waiting for after working all day already. It's not supposed to let up until morning.

Like others on here, we were supposed to get thunderstorms and heavy rain today and this evening. All we got was a light mist/drizzle for an hour this evening. It was hardly enough to wet the driveway. Most of the bad stuff is off to the north-east. They project that the rain will start in earnest around 4 o'clock this morning. We'll see.

It was a wild ride last night between 10pm and 1:30 this morning.
Jeff and Ty both texted me that storm sirens were going off in Defiance, I have friends in my hometown of Delphos who said it was bad there.
It blew, rained like mad with the worst thunder and lightning I've experienced in a long time, sirens were not sounded here in Napoleon.
Putnam and Paulding county have damage.
The tiny village of Dupont got it bad with an EF1.
I was watching what appeared to be rotation on the radar, shortly after that it hit here.

I'll take the snow over tornadoes. Yikes.

I actually enjoy a good snowstorm clean up afterwards. When we lived in the city, I was outside behind a snowblower for 2-3 hrs covered in snow freezing my arse off. Now, I shovel the walk. Go out and sit inside a warm truck pushing snow around while having my morning coffee and listening to music for a couple hours. 😆

The projected rain at 4 am didn't show up. They canceled the severe weather alert around 8 o'clock this morning. It started misting/drizzling around 11 am. I drove into town after lunch and the precipitation wasn't heavy enough to wash the yellow pine pollen off my car. It quit altogether around 4 in the afternoon. Most of the bad stuff this evening is 'way off to the north-east.
They say that we are really going to get hit tomorrow but after two misses in a row I'm not breaking out my slicker suit and Wellingtons just yet.
