Whats your weather like right now?

The top of my hot tub enclosure was bare 2hrs ago. It was supposed to start this morning but instead came in like a vengeance. My son works at the airport loading baggage onto planes and directing them on the tarmac. There's a whole list of delayed flights he's waiting for after working all day already. It's not supposed to let up until morning.

Like others on here, we were supposed to get thunderstorms and heavy rain today and this evening. All we got was a light mist/drizzle for an hour this evening. It was hardly enough to wet the driveway. Most of the bad stuff is off to the north-east. They project that the rain will start in earnest around 4 o'clock this morning. We'll see.

It was a wild ride last night between 10pm and 1:30 this morning.
Jeff and Ty both texted me that storm sirens were going off in Defiance, I have friends in my hometown of Delphos who said it was bad there.
It blew, rained like mad with the worst thunder and lightning I've experienced in a long time, sirens were not sounded here in Napoleon.
Putnam and Paulding county have damage.
The tiny village of Dupont got it bad with an EF1.
I was watching what appeared to be rotation on the radar, shortly after that it hit here.

I'll take the snow over tornadoes. Yikes.

I actually enjoy a good snowstorm clean up afterwards. When we lived in the city, I was outside behind a snowblower for 2-3 hrs covered in snow freezing my arse off. Now, I shovel the walk. Go out and sit inside a warm truck pushing snow around while having my morning coffee and listening to music for a couple hours. 😆

Sunny and 55f. And with all the rains, looks as if my first mowing around the building will be soon. Very soon.

The projected rain at 4 am didn't show up. They canceled the severe weather alert around 8 o'clock this morning. It started misting/drizzling around 11 am. I drove into town after lunch and the precipitation wasn't heavy enough to wash the yellow pine pollen off my car. It quit altogether around 4 in the afternoon. Most of the bad stuff this evening is 'way off to the north-east.
They say that we are really going to get hit tomorrow but after two misses in a row I'm not breaking out my slicker suit and Wellingtons just yet.

55 yesterday, 44 the high is long gone today, 33 high tomorrow.
Next week in the 60s.

Still below freezing but the sun is shining. The long range looks promising as barely below freezing at night and up to double digits (celcius) during the day. The snow will be gone before long.

Woke up to an absolutely beautiful morning today. It's only in the low 50s but not a cloud in the sky. Quite a change after a wild Friday, rainy Saturday and totally cloudy Sunday.

We had a 20% chance of snow for today.

But so far nothing. Temp is 34(F) so just above freezing. Sunny with some fluffy clouds. It was warmer this morning when I took Kobe to pre-school so the temps are dropping. Doesn't look like snow weather. Looks like spring out the window but cold.

I have a difficult time this time of year with the dampness and temperature fluctuations. It's -13c now but going to +1 this afternoon. My mid back has been on fire for three days. If you can picture the right side lowest rib right about where it connects to the spine? That's where I have permanent issues as I broke the rib right where it connects and 3 vertebrae right in that location. Plus 3 vertebrae right near the tailbone. Full of arthritis in there now. Sometimes the upper back flares and I can't sit lay down or put any pressure on it. Then, if I'm lucky it's only the upper back as I can still stand and move. When the lower back flares up, it sends sharp pains down my legs and burns up my back whenever I stand. Very frustrating this time of year. Sorry for the long rant about the pain but this weather sucks in between seasons for me with the cold dampness. Another sleepless night.

26(F) here this morning.

We did not get snow.

Temp should hit 40(F) later today.

Will go back below freezing tonight.

My arthritis also notices the change in temperatures this time of the year, mostly in my shoulders and elbows. Started wearing an "old man sweater" in the house a few years ago. Started 6-9 months pre-Covid, which is about the same time my arthritis long term arthritis meds went into full failure. Mine is not a "Mr Rodgers" cute old man cardigan sweater, it is more of a Cabela's hunting lodge warm/thick zip up sweater. If I'm not wearing that, then usually I'll wear a fencing warm up jacket. Anything to help keep my upper torso joints warm.

Heat helps my arthritis as well. The lovely missus got the bright idea to shut off the furnace yesterday because it was warm during the day. Not fully comprehending the concept of a thermostat set at a certain temperature not allowing it to turn on. Well, last night it got cold. I woke up at 4am freezing with a wool blanket over the duvet keeping me warm. I understand the sweater as I've got a selection I use as well for the same reason. I also have a couple of heated vests. Those are nice

Another beauty. Right now, at 11:00 it's 63°F and supposed to warm up to 70°F. Beautiful blue sky, not a cloud in sight but there is a little haze on the horizon.

Around 35° here with very high winds so the wind chill is around 20°. My body was getting used to Spring weather. I'll just putter inside today.

Yesterday it was sunny and +12 with everything a sloppy mess of slush outside. We're still melting off the last storm. Now it's -3c and forecast to start with freezing rain all day today turning into another snow storm. That's right. I said SNOW STORM.

Thankfully that storm hit as rain and not snow. And I haven't heard of any spring flooding considering the amount of rain that fell over 12 hrs. Now. It's just VERY windy and temperatures around the freezing point.

Rain last night.
39(F) temperature that should climb into the low 40's(F).
Overcast.
Grey.
Ugly.
But the trees are budding out and the birds have returned.

Warm, Sunny, Breezy. About 70%F.

Grass is growing. Along with the dandelions.
I'll cut it tomorrow
Dogwood and Redbuds are ablaze.
Autum Olive is making the air smell sweet.
