thyroid cancer diagnosis

Doc, tell them to shave both sides for you...don't want that unbalanced look. :flowers:

I have a neat scar on my left from pacemaker surgery. I regret not asking the Doc to make a matching incision on the right side so I matched. Now I have to go through life unbalanced. :whistling:

Hey he knows we love him ....................... I've been declining a response because I know it's just a bump in a road. He's gonna be fine!

He's actually doing good!

He should ask for a discount :hammer:

After all, if he went in 2 times the hospital bill would be double. I say 50% discount.

If only ObamaCare had already started, they could NEUTER him while he is in there too :yum:

Wow Doc! Hope you feel better soon! You need to get back in here quick... before all heck breaks out!

........... which I know it can... because I can stir up a pot!

a pot of what.... to be determined at a later date... or after a few shots of Sambuca!

Not to worry Doc....my cath and stents went in friday night and sat morning I came home....sun afternoon I was back on the same ladder...I fell off of.......friday afternoon.......my only problem was the bad words Mom was laying on me!!!!!!!!

And the saga continues.
Catheriization was no problem but the blockage is in a tough spot. They called it the widowaker if I had a heart attack away from a hospital it might have been the end.

But the hospital I was at could not stent the blockage in that location and are not sure a stent can be put in that location. So I was transported to a hosp in Columbus. They will cath me tomorrow and either put in stents or decide the I require a bypass operation. A highly rated hospital and impressive so far. I sure hope stents will work but from the way today's doctor explained it I hav serious doubts stents can work.

Sounds like they are working to do the best for you.

Take it easy!

Jim

Hang in there Doc. They can do wonders nowadays. You're in a great place, very highly recognized for their heart center.

They cathed me so many times I got frequent flyer miles and knew the team by their first names. Then they did some more in Cleveland clinic. Hope they can cath you as that open heart shit hurts a lot worse. Just remember they can't bill if you ain't alive and kicking.:whistling:

Ok all i feel it is all our duty to help out whilst Doc is sidelined...

1..can someone inform all of Doc's forums that he is currently sidelined

2..maybe we can all keep a extra eye on the forums for spam, unwanted posts ect and report to the mods in the correct manner

3..make Doc proud and up our activity on the forums

anything else we can do list it no matter how trivial it may seem.

In other words you think we should all behave responsibly while Doc is away?

FAT CHANCE BUB!

Oh wait, I think I finally understand ObummerCare. Its FREE if you DIE :hammer:

Doc, you should have had this procedure done YESTERDAY, today is the start up day of ObamaCare. Them Death Panels are knocking on our doors!

Well it's best to get all the things fixed before you head out on the trail!

Hopefully you will have a clean running body when you get done!

What would you do without us?

Anyone hear how Doc is doing today? Is he going to be able to get away with a stent or will he have to have open heart surgery? That's no fun believe me.

Being he has not posted he may have gotten cut and sawed and spread like a hooker.....OUCH!:w00t2:

I have heard from a family member who gave permission for this to be posted. Doc had his cath this morning and it was determined that surgery was needed. He had a triple bypass and is doing fine right now. That's all I know for now.
edit..........At 6:25 Dr says all is going great.

Ouch, he is going to hurt. My dad said the worst was when they handed him a pillow and told him to hold it tight against his chest and cough. That was to get the fluid out of his lungs. Glad to hear that he's doing okay.

Uh, so NOT yet "Shovel Ready" :hide:

Well I guess that is good news, it will give him time to sign up for the ObamaCare insurance exchange so that the "Death Panels" can review his case :whistling:

Doc is doing well. Looks like 4-6 days in the hospital. Of course he's in for a long recovery period.
