After lunch I tackled the rats nest, pulled out at least 25’ of abandon wire. Have a switch not being used in the control panel that just had wires running to nowhere. Pulled out switches and un tangled all the wires crossing over each other.
Next I will wire tie them in order, should be pretty clean then. I now know what switch does what and there are no extra wires running to nowhere. Another nice surprise is that after the engine warms up good it will idol with the alternator turned on, so I just have to wait for it to warm up before turning it on. The quick disconnect plugs will be here next week to enable the winch to be used on the front or rear easily. The winch is the main reason for the 70 amp alternator, otherwise I could of used a 35 amp. Running the battery flat while trying to pull myself out of being stuck would suck. We are very close for a field test.

Today I put a new wiper on the arm, was able to find something close at the parts store and make it work.
Loomed and tied up the wiring, now it’s as done as it going to get.
The new air filter showed up.
Changed the oil again.

The previous owner hacked a hole in the tub to fill a marine outboard gas tank he was using for the gas tank.
Made a plate to cover it and it was a good spot to run the cables out for the winch, also ran cables out the front, for when I get the new front bumper made with a receiver on it.
