Whats your weather like right now?

Still have snow on the ground and about 16 degrees this morning. leftovers from the artic blast that gave us the largest ever snowfall here in the south. hard to believe we are only 20 miles to the Gulf of America

It is 24%F outside right now. 3:30 PM CST.
Sunny with a light breeze.
The green house is at 85% F despite a fan blowing its solar heated air into the house.

The Furnace shut down for the first time in three days. It has cycled from low to high without a rest since Tuesday.
My house was originally 1,550 Square feet. It now approaches 3,000 Square feet. We are on our third furnace. Same size furnace as original, but the newest is a variable speed, & more efficient.

Every remodeled room has upgraded insulation. The master bedroom is so well insulated we had to close off the heat vent when it was -1%F outside. When I finish the solarium on the back porch, it will be well insulated. Currently it is not because the window walls were built for a three-season room. They are, in fact, removable during summer months.

That changes this coming summer. Hopefully. :whistling:

Back in '77 when we flipped this house, my FIL installed four single pane windows. This because of our tight budget. I never replaced them with thermal-pane using storm windows every change of the season. It will be about two grand to replace them with the best thermal pane. In the last 50 years, I likely spent more than that on gas because they leak so much heat.

Budget allowing, that also changes this summer.

ONTARIO IS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS TODAY! All due to whiteout snow squalls. We just got a squall warning here. Basically, everything east of me is closed due to weather. Not before another head on collision between multiple transports.

The rest of the province has been getting nailed by storm after storm this winter while we've been spared. I guess today is our turn. It started snowing around 7am and by 11am there was close to 8" when I went out to plow. It's still coming down but supposed to stop by 6. We'll see.

It snowed maybe an inch or so while I changed my grandsons car battery then it stopped for a couple hours then freezing rain turned to sleet at about 5:00 still coming down as wintery mix.
The crick out back has been frozen for about 2 weeks
I had to order more propane for the house this is the 4th delivery this season and its early yet.
Gretta Thornburg how is that "global warming going"

Difficult to know what to report here. It is too cold to go outside and cut plywood yet warm enough to cut some studs.,
So, progress is slow on the Furnace room remodel. Still, I got some things done.
The Phone company had installed a weird system. So, I have to anchor it down, properly.
All held together with Zip Ties.

I need to replace the Duplex outlet with a Quad. And add a third circuit,
with Greenfield, for....the 1,000h people in the washer system.

No issues with the current "legal" set up. However, I need to go 100% legal code, An extension "Cord" is not exactly legal".

Next, my Berthier rights.
If there is some there I need it clarified. some

I understand...:
$I need to slaughter & understand the help set up a guardianship of (my%.)' for my son..
