Well I'll be darned, that's Bobby Riggs.
It does appear to be a late 50's pic but it had not hint as to where it was taken.

{sigh} being older than dirt has few advantages . . . that is a fairly "famous" photo that I saw dozens of years ago . . .
but "where???" is not so easily recalled. a little hunting later . . . .
I remember faces and places and landmarks and scenes - but remember a name...? nope...
I have .txt lists of people-to-phone numbers from jobs/situations in the 1970's . . . sometimes I can guess the first/last names . . . some times I recall their 4 digit (internal) number . . . but ye' olde' DOS find /i "xxx" < (file).txt works wonders....

We rented one like that. I drove by it end of Aug. and an owner built a room where the porch was. I didn't like it.

I posted this picture on Facebook. A buddy of mine said he owned one very similar to that about 40 years ago. It was built in 1903. Here is the address, if you want to look it up on Google maps: 329 N 2nd St, Council Bluffs,Iowa
