If you buy a gun, particularly a handgun, one must be prepared to take a life in defense of themselves, their loved ones, a neighbor or a defenseless stranger.

If you cannot make this choice with absolute decisive conviction, do not buy or carry the weapon because it may well kill you.
 
Down here where I live, seeing folks with guns is normal. We have no crime or criminal problems because it is well known that we are able to take care of problems and then call the police. In my house I am never very from a loaded gun. So far the only time I pick one up is to remove dust from it. On the back window of my truck is a picture of a revolver pointing at anyone reading that it says "Wrong Truck". So far no one has not believed it.
