Windows Reliability Monitor

A pro tip by tsaw:
This works for Vista and Win 7.
How stable and healthy is your computer?
There is a hidden hard to find feature buried in to the operating system to find out. The quickes way to get there is click on start - then type in reliability in the quick search. The top search pick should be: view reliability history. When you get there you will see something like this:

You will notice I was running at a perfect 10. Untill the storms cut the power.

Check it out. It will show you lots of interesting info about what is going on - inside your PC.

Hey, that's cool! I'm at 10 as well. Every update, and software event is logged. I had a big windows update a couple of days ago. I'm on W7 64 bit. Do you have automatic update turned on? Much of what was updated was security stuff.

I just added an icon to check this. When you go to start and type in reliability, click the word "reliability" while holding down the button, and drag it to the desk top.

I don't have Windows update turned on. I hate when MS decides to re-boot my computer in the middle of the night. :yum::yum::yum::yum:
