Now that you say that I am thinking the same. He told us 4 hours he would be leaving but yet about 7 hours later he was online here?? But I do remember Vin telling me that he had to drive a ways to get to the airport then he would fly out the next day? But hey my memory sucks.

They should land about 2:00 PM CST by my calculations. Then the trek through U.S. Customs......
 
We are here safe and well. Picked up the car and drove down to Vista. Got air card but keeps disconnecting.

I still can not get my internet to perform properly, every time I connect it only stays connected for a few minutes and disconnects. I will ring the people I hired it through tomorrow, and hope I can get it sorted out. At the very worst I will only be without it for the first week as the company I hired it from is based in Sacramento and I will be in the area by the end of the week.

I went to Walmart today, well I am not impressed the customer service was , well bloody atrocious. I asked this assistant something, I got a grunt at the best and he then just walked away, as if to say fuk off mate.

No driving today we have been chauffeured around, we did very little though today as we have been pretty buggered.
 
I'm guessing the Walmart associate couldn't understand a word you said. :rolleyes: Wait til you try Frys Electronics! Lots of cool stuff, but famous for little to no service.


Which model access card and provider did you get? The USB UM175 with Verizon? That's what I have and it seems to be flawless.

Let me know when you are near the longitude of CO and we can rendezvous.
