what are you using for a chassis Thiokol 2100 or 3700 diesel or gas looks to have been a nice job.
 
Its the 2100 chassis, running a 5.7l v8 out of the van. fuel injected now. This is the second one that I have done. Looking to do a 3rd. Its a cruising machine, the best part is, i can get most parts at a local parts house!

I would love a diesel but the high speed rear ends for the diesel are hard to come by. did you use the same steering system or did you change it to a joy stick control. also what kind of top speed do you get withy the over drive transmission
 
I changed over to the joystick controls and kind of self designed my system. I can push 14mph, but that is pushing everything to the max. I like running at 10. We climb alot of elevation to get into our cabin.

10 is pushing my 380 against the governor I have a divorced np 205 I plan to put in backward for a pore mans overdrive .
 
I built the disk brakes pictured to better control my downhill speed. I nearly killed everyone in my cat last year coming down the mountain and nearly went off a 300 foot cliff ...that will not happen again!

that too I would like to see a better picture of one thing I can say about my braking is when I pull both laterals back there is no shortage of braking I never liked the foot brake Thiokol used and eventually removed it from the system some day it would be cool to add a brake caliper and a mico lock to the parking brake disc.
