Tucker ?

Good day to you all. It,s been a couple of days since the last time I,ve been on.
There were a couple of 300 mod that came out from tucker And they even try,d to have a two track unit besides the four track ones. My 323s cab could carry three in the front and two in the back. All thow I have had seven people in it at a time. The two two track unit did not pan out the way they had hoped, and was not massproduced. The 323 I have I think was just a prototype.and did not hit the market. You can see it has the split front window like the bigger 400 units. Jim at trucker had a story to tell about this one but all he would say is they nick named it OH MULEY . I know why now :hammer:

hey allen glad to see you are getting active onto the snow cat's again how did your project to convert to hydrostatic drive go. i'm hoping you arn't going to scrap it as i think your rig is one of the cooler looking tuckers i've seen

Allen,

:wow: slick looking machine. i am still trying to work out getting to idaho to see the one that is at Snotrans. I really like the old style machines!

Sorry, our real clean 1965 Tucker 323 has been sold. But we may have a 443 soon in trade . It will be on our web site, posted at snotrans.com when we get it.Bill

Good day Don, I am still here. I can still see the blue sky. The project was put on hold for a while. I had a another heartattack, and If it was not for the doctors trying to O.D. me with aspirin and plavix. I would be doing great. But I hit the floor running and I am not going back there again.
Last winter On a cold snowy night I went out to the shop with a cold beer, And sat beside my cat. I saw a tear in the cats eye (headlight) I felt sorry for my cat and I asked tucker what was wrong? It told my that it was starting to feel like KRISTI sno cat and the only snow it see is out the window. That just broke my heart. And it took six more beer to convince it that this was only temperary. And it would be playing in the snow very soon.
Along with the heart attack the boss (Wife) put me to work building a small home base business. And it is turning out to be very good move.
As for the tucker its still a go. Only now I will buy a solid rubber track in stead of trying to make it. The project is going to be big buck. But in reading other post on a new cat coming to the US. If that one is going to be 80 grand or more. Its out of my price tag Why should a simple light snow cat be twice a much as a car. All we want is a very simple light snow cat that we can tow behind a light truck. And not have to pay a arm and leg for. So If I have to put 15 grand into this. Im still a lot better off.

Sorry KRISTI,S

Glad to here you are comming along and i understand the delimma i also have a st4 body in the back yard i'm thinking of putting a small kubota diesel and drivedrain from a bobcat into with a rubber track for summer use on the tundra

You must keep going. Because If you stop you may not see the blue sky and all flowers.
Like a old tucker just throw a bucket of lub at her and she will keep on going
