My Dad told me when he was married to his first wife in the 1930s, he and his buddies would go fishing in Minnesota. They'd go to bars to party and who knows what else. They would BUY fish already cleaned and take them back home. They claimed they cleaned them so their wives wouldn't have to do it. <GRIN>
