I can live with that. Need brown mustard and sauerkraut for the dogs. I'll make potato salad and coleslaw.

There is no doubt, no hesitation, no procrastination ... I do now declare myself The .....Hey look a squirrel!!!!!!!!

You're lucky. I got a damn big fat woodchuck I'm trying to shoot. The sumbitch is munching in the garden and is one damn friggin' shortimer, I will tell you.

Please vote on which firearm I should use:

1. AR M4orgery with red dot and 2x magnifier using 55 grain Nosler Varmageddon bullets.
2. M1 Garand with 168 grain SMK Hollow Point.
3. M1 Carbine using 110 grain round nose FMJ.

I'm leaning toward the AR. Those Varmageddons are nasty.

if...just if....if i was to take of my clothes...would it make you all fuck off and let the thread die:whistling:

I'd let you try my M1A NM. with 168 gr. Noslers.

Got one of those too. A Springer NM with the old style receiver stamping that says 7.62mm. I don't hunt with it being NM so I did not include it in the mix.

She, of course, is the one on top. :big grin:

Please choose from the 3 listed, Umberto!

Very nice! That one has some of the original M14 parts then.

I sold my M1, just never cared for them. When I went into the reserves we had M1's and nerved developed a love for one like my M14. Are you at the M14 forum?

This would work. 25/06

Yes all USGI parts except the Receiver (of course) Barrel (Wilson NM) and the stock, which is a Fred's Big Red Birch. The picture does not do it justice.

Yes, I am over at the M14 Forum. MrJitters is my moniker over there. I have not posted there in a while, though. I go through spells.

The honest truth is my M1A is a much better rifle then I am as a shot with my failing eyes and not so steady shooting posture now. Sadly she spends her days as a safe queen. I should sell her and use the money to buy something I will actually use, but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger. No pun intended. :yum:

Yes, the 25/06 will work just fine and a very nice rifle, indeed. Beautiful looking wood.
