I'm debating weather to call my sister in California and have her pick up the pace of her return (She is due next Tuesday evening).

I don't think I've slept more than 2 hours a night in the last 3 weeks. Between the nightmares at work and family worries, I might be next. :sad:

Mom passed away this afternoon at about 2.40 pm. I believe that she really passed last night, but her body kept going for a few more hours.

I'd like to thank everyone for their prayers and well-wishes. I am sure it helped.

I also want to thank the people at Ministry Hospice. Their service allowed Mom to stay at home, rather than in a hospital. She spent here final weeks, surrounded by family in her own house with her little kitty, Sophie. (She will come live with us once everything is finished, here.)

Larry, I cannot begin to express the emotion right now.

Your Mother sure was a fighter, but now she's where she wants to be and wouldn't come back even if she could. ;)

Cool about you taking over care of Sophie Kitty. How sweet and right for you to do that.

No more pain, no more suffering.. just eternal rest until you can see her again.

So sorry to hear of your loss , we just went throught the same thing with my wifes father there are no words to ease the hurt ,my prayers are with you and your family at this special time.

My condolences to you and your family. I'm sorry for your loss, but as others said she is in a better place now. I know it's tough but hang in there.
