snowmaster questions?

couchloafer,
that roof hatch does look like what mine used to. Will get some photos and measurements tomorrow. Is that a working windshield motor? I am short one of them also. Still wonder why they both have snowmaster on them???? Only a few numbers apart!!! Maybe they called them that earlier in north america??

Here are the hatch photos on my st4b. Sure looks like yours. Forgot to measure. Mine does have a sun roof cobbed in and used the sunroof to open and close the hatch.

Will try photos again. The hatch on # 868 is 20.5 ' x 44" wide. Someone cobbed in a sunroof and it colose on the sunroof hardware. Still weird that they both say snowmaster.

We have been without snow now for too long......I have a 1500 bus motor in #447(came that way from previous owner) but it has had a cab heat issue..no heat actually. We swapped out the heater boxes as the old ones were not connected to the fan at all. While we had the motor out we discovered the Snow Trac air intake box was mounted wrong and did not even align with the doghouse....... the heat baffles in the picture below were in the way......I could not cut the factory airbox up for clearance so we made a new one.........

the trac master should probably have the larger air box with the auxiliary fan housing. the one pictured below has had the pulley driven fan removed and an electric fan installed
