Snow Cat Serenade, 2025

Will there be a Kristi?
over the years one or two of the Kristi guys make it sound like they may come, they are always welcome, and yet to date, no Kristi's, they are always welcome

they are always welcome!

hoping one will show up one of these years, if one did, they would be treated like king of the mountain!

their rightful position!

It’s a long haul down and back. I have a 4 season camper. Is there a spot for a camper? Only service required is 15 amp power.

sent PM,

love to have you come on down, the best solution is find a local RV park in Hood River or The Dalles they will have everything you need to camp out in style. sadly the hotel does not allow rv camping

it is happening again in 2025....north side of Mt Hood

March 5 - 9, 2025

will be staying at the Columbia Gorge Hotel, Hood River, Oregon, reservations will open soon,

and when they do, make them early !
I spent a couple nights there many moons ago before they closed and got re-sold and eventually re-opened. 5 star all the way, particularly enjoyed the 4:00 champagne social hour on the veranda. I would be tempted but doubt seriously I could get my cat trailered up and hauled out of the snowy woods the first of March

Thought I'd chime in here and let you all know that it's looking like a great season here this winter. The ski area is open and it was the earliest opening in the last 20 years and probably one of the best opening weekends ever (?). We have good snow at about 5k and up. It's dumping up there now with the snow level dropping to 1500' today. Pretty sure I'll be out with the cat this next week scouting places to bring you all. If winter keeps up at this pace we will have a fantastic time in March. Looking forward to seeing all who comes.

Funny how they changed names for the weather systems to make them scarier for the Snow Flakes. In B.C. we get wet weather systems that trail out of Hawaii that used to be call the Pineapple Express. But they changed the name to Atmospheric River to sound scarier for the Chicken Little crowd.

I sure don't need the media hype. We've always just called it a snow storm. Forecast is for 8 to 15 inches, not too shabby for the first "white cyclone" of the season.

howdy,

wow, wow, wow, is it snowing on Mt Hood, to use a very over used phrase, it going to be epic,

snow cat serenade-hood river will be offering 3 different snow cat adventures, no same old same old treks, all new treks, our trek master snow surfer has out done himself and really hit a home run, 3 home runs to be exact! impressive.

one of the treks will be to Cloud Cap Inn, it is the oldest building/Inn on Mt Hood, great views and such special place to visit in winter and we are going.

only a couple rooms left, just saying....

Just made reservations for Thursday through Sunday. We were at the original gathering in Leavenworth in 2013, but haven't managed to make it back since. Looking forward to seeing everyone and going on Friday's trip up to Cloud Cap.

Lol, atmospheric river,.....heavy rain.

Holy schnikies! Stoked to see this, in my backyard! I've made 3 or 4 Midwest Cat Clowders, 1 Eastern Oregon jamboree, but never a Mt Hood event! I'll be there! (just a snowcat fan...I'll have one some day...) Looking for a ride for Friday Tilly Jane! Will pay in cash, grass or booze but not ass ;-)

Ill vouch for eric. He is a wayward midwesterner struggling to lose his roots.
Properly pimped can be encouraged to make stickers.
Everyone likes stickers. He has a good eye behind a camera as well!

last call, only maybe 2 rooms left, looking like we booked the entire Hotel, quit wishing and go snow catting

just saying you need to make those reservations NOW!
