luvs have the docs checked your thyroid? Two family members had problems with weight loss and it was an overactive thyroid.

TY, & yep, as was mentioned- i have gotten hyperthyroidism. that is not my issue, now. i'm losing vision-suddenly, my throat hurts, my ears block often, i'm too weak to get my mail & hafta have a pal get that for me, & either i cannot snooze, or snooze fer hours & hours.
 
I'm so sorry, I didn't know. Haven't been around much lately. Didn't even know our favorite nurse was ban until yesterday.

Perhaps different doctors or specialist? Had another friend who had an infection for close to a year, really surprise he didn't lose his hand. His regular doctor was giving him the wrong type of antibiotics. Different doctor found it right away. Your illness is much more serious and time is not on your side.

My most recent favorite personal saying is "You can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results" But that seems to be the human condition.

I'm new here, but from what I have read that you posted it sounds to me like lyme disease. A guy I knew a few years back had all the symptoms you describe and after about 8 or 9 months the docs figured it out.

Hope you get better, and if you can still have liquid while on that feeding tube try a protein drink a couple of times a day.
 
thank yins guys-- redd-- fret not. my doctors (i've several of them) have sent me to get labs & tests so often, it's absurd.
they prescribe a high-protein formula that i get through my feeds. i combine 2 of them. tho, can ingest normal food, as well. my nurses take me to get food, when i agree to dine, as well.
 
i put on a few pounds. we have gotten scads of food in these last few daze. now, let's talk reflux, :glare: yay.
