My Sister and Brother-In-Law own a small lottery shop on the border of Florida and Alabama. Tommy was at work today when two men wearing ski masks came in, demanded money and then shot him dead. There we other customers in the building at the time.

These were good people. It’s a strange world we’re living in people, and reality can come at you when you least expect it. Trish and I will be leaving to drive back to Pensacola to assist in the aftermath.

Immediately go hug your loved ones. You just never know.

sorry to hear this it's one thing to have nature take some one you love it's a whole different thing when it's sinceless and stupid. hering this just makes me mad and leaves me wanting to roam the streets like Charles Bronson did
 
I'm speachless, to think of some loved one who's life was taken in such a way. So Sorry to hear about this. Do what you need to do with your family. Be safe while your doing it. Especially be there for your sister...

I'm very sorry to hear this. As the owner of a small retail store this is the type of thing that I fear. I can not express my feelings of sorrow for your family enough. You and them are in my prayers.
 
I'm sorry to hear this Squerly. Those convenience stores are magnets for scum.

I hope they catch these guys and they don't make it past a police shoot out.

That was such a senseless act. The previous posts have said it all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
 
Just arrived in Pensacola. The law has the shooter in custody and a warrant has been issued for the other. There was a 3rd person (the driver) involved to. We have been told not to discuss some of the details that were given to us but not to the public as they don't want to compromise their position when trying the individuals.

But I can say there was an exchange of gunfire and it was in this exchange that Tommy was killed.
