OK, going to try something new here.

If you've found a really great deal on a product, post it. Personally, I do weekly or monthly online shopping and do find some great deals.

Post some things that you've found to be great products and as well (cautiously) some things you've found that appear to be worthwhile (bought but haven't tried).

I'll start out (and omit sales already mentioned on the forum).
Haven't tried, but ordered
Cabelas has a nice price on hooded, zippered sweatshirts ($9.95) in many sizes. I ordered some in all of the family's sizes.
Same place - Cabelas - Carhartts (arctic ware) for a very reasonable price.

Recently purchased:
I don't recall whom I bought it from (but will look) but DAMN, the Muck Boot stuff is SWEET!

Only for you scrawny types with narrow feet. My 4E's don't much like Muck Boots. Although they are nice and I do wish they fit me.

Ummm, us scrawny feet (EE for me) have ruled the majority of this continent for several thousand years. Your EEEE shit is probably because you're from a "more Northern climate" and therefore you're feet are trying to be snowboards and, since proven impossible, you feel F***ed.

PS. In the real (un-frozen) part of North America, we do have seasonable "muck".

PPS. Sorry PB. That just came out too easily.

That's fine - I'd been waiting to use this smiley and couldn't think of a more deserving person . . .

Not a specific "great deal," but this site has some good links to some good ones from time to time:

And in the spirit of PB's smiley, if ya don't like the link ......

We just got a Menard's in town. They've been doing their Grand Opening the last few days. I was in there today and bought some leather work gloves for 88 cents a pair. Bought 5 pairs. Probably should haven't gotten a more. Figure for that price, wear them and when they get dirty or don't hold up, toss 'em.

Speaking of gloves... I just picked a great deal that should be considered.

300 pair (600 total) gloves for working around the house.

It was $90 for 300 pair (delivered).

They're cotton (with some poly) work gloves and work great for everyday chores or just hanging out. (I find my hands stay warm in them in temps above about 20 degrees).
If they get wet, THEY'RE WORTHLESS for warmth (but if you have 300 pair, just swap them out if they get wet).

Actually, I split the order with a couple others. I kept 200 pair. I dyed them gray (just so I can recognize and know which are mine).

They're on e-bay. Look for "white cotton work gloves".

If you get some, watch for shrinkage if washed in hot water. Also watch for BURNING if you get them near flame until they've been washed a few times. They won't burn your hands but will put a neat looking surface flame across the surface for a second or two...

FWIW (and this will probably get Dargo going again :D):

Over on Net Tractor Talk I just posted a Harbor Freight 20% off coupon. It's good through 3/2.

Before you print it out, make up your own customer# as I described in that post.

And a couple of posts above that one, I posted a link to a sort of Consumer Reports-type site that has reviews of HF's good, bad, and just plain ugly. HF has a great return policy, you just need a good sense of humor and a little patience sometimes until you learn what they are good at and which categories to avoid.

Duluth Trading Company is having a clearance on leftover toys. I picked up a couple of pogo sticks for $15 each and a tabletop 2 lane bowling game for $25.

One of the technically neater things I got this week was "warm light" LED lightbulbs - standard medium base with 6 LEDs and a round globe covering, so they have the profile of a traditional bulb.
standard incandescent grade light, approximating 35-40 watts of output, but only burning 1.5 watts/hour.
