Due to Al poking the TV devil my flat screen died. I got a 42" vizio to replace it but it doesn't have enough analog inputs for all our stuff

My tv is mounted above my fire place and cable box and dvd player is on an audio cabinet across the room I just used analog RWY cables to feed it before. the new Viszo doesn't have enough inputs to do it the old way.

any suggestions / comments

Why the big discrepancy in price?

Quality and pricing

Monster Cable and similar "boutique" cables are a substantial source of revenue for retailers of electronics such as DVD players and TVs. While the profit margins of DVD players and TVs may be low, the profit margins of Monster Cables and similar products provide supplemental revenue for these retailers. Employees of such retailers are trained to market and bundle Monster Cable and similar products so as to increase profitability.

Nevertheless, various reviews have reported that listeners and viewers are unable to tell a difference between substantially higher-priced Monster cables and inexpensive cables

The cables are suppose to be rated for a certian amount of data they can transfer. Cheaper ones don't do as much as the more costly ones do. For me that isn't a big issue, but some folks really push a lot of stuff though their systems and for them it is a big deal, video, sound and all the other tech stuff. Top end ones also are gold plated so they don't get anything but a clean signal, cheaper ones are steel or copper....

Basically, you get what you pay for, and I am cheap....
