300 gallons of water = 1980 lbs
Hot tub empty weight= 300 lbs
Four idiots bouncing = 620 lbs
Total static compression= 2900 lbs.

That bending compression post on the right is developing a nice curve. The one on the left is also beginning to fail.
I would suggest these folks may soon be trying to learn how to fly.

Definitely photoshopped.
1- the angle of the hot tub is taken from slightly above, if it was taken from the lower level like in the picture you wouldn’t see the far side of it.
2- who sits in a hot tub with all four people sitting on one side, it’s done for an ad.
3- that dude ain’t good enough looking to have three chicks like that in a hot tub

By the way Franc, it's even worse that you thought. 300 gallons of water weighs 2500 pounds, maybe a little less because it is hot.

I just took a guess.
Even if it was photos hopped that deck construction is awful. 2X6 floor joist are OK but just bolted to the support posts is wrong. And 16 feet of rise without a stabilizing frame is the reason we have building codes and inspectors. I hate that because of stuff like this, one almost cannot legally just drive a nail in their house without a permit.
