We are out in California visiting our un-officially adopted daughter Dasha with foster son Kobe. I thought about posting this photo in the travel section. But damn. I just paid $6.29.9 a gallon for regular gas just outside the edge of the Stanford campus.

California's "brilliant" solution will be to encourage oil companies to raise the price even higher to make up for lost revenue.
That goes along with their "brilliant" solution to raise taxes on the remaining people when others have moved out.

Well our adopted daughter is on a semester long study program so we came to visit her. But I would not pick this as a vacation spot.
