Anyone here ever use one? (Besides me of course)
Our local snowmobile club fabricates and sells these packer bars that mount on the rear of the snowcat and operates hydraulically to raise and lower the bar. When you break trail, you attach this onto the back of the machine to pack everything so you're not destroying the drag going over rocks and stumps. If you come across an obstacle suck as a tree down or a creek to fill in, you simply raise it in the air and you can maneuver as if there's nothing behind. If anyone is interested, pm me your info and I can put you in contact with the club president who also oversees design and building of these during the summer months.
