some say licorice. i dont taste it, tho. the only alcohol i have tasted licorice in is sambuca. jager is a krauter (herbal) liquor

Hmmm...I forgot about Sambuca. Everyone's taste buds are different. I like IPA's, but a couple of my friends say they taste like soap.

Ack! I hate IPA's... Love beer of all kinds but IPA's do not agree with my palate.

There ya go. Different taste buds I guess. I'm not a fan of Hefewiezens or bitter beers. Not sure what it is, but I just can't drink them.
