OFFICIAL 2024 Election Results Thread

This is indeed a good day in America. It is now only a question of HOW big Trump's win will be, along with the Senate and House.

With both chambers of Congress and the Presidency, and with his experience from his last presidency, expect Trump to truly drain the swamp and enact real measures to improve the economy, peace in the world, the immigration issues, and much more.

This is a historic win my friends. I can't stop smiling with pride. :D:US_flag:

And I can't stop laughing. The liberal networks remain in stunned denial at this hour. :ROFLMAO:

I tuned into CNN and MSLSD for the first time today since 2016 just to enjoy and laugh at them. So funny and feels damn good. :lmao: (y):ROFLMAO: This is the best.

I bounced between cbs and pbs till 3am central.

What a night. I will say i was concerned.

It appears the milwaukee county counting debacle screwed a seat (baldwin declared) while i napped. But the amount of butt-hurt this am is glorious. That obamas 4th term comment is gold.

Has Whoopi left for Canada or Venezuela yet?

I know all the "stars" who promised to leave are rich and can afford their own tickets, but I'm thinking we should start a GoFundMe page to buy tickets on Iranian Air or Venezuelan Airlines or maybe a seat on a Cuban garbage raft, to send some of these people out of the country to places that seem to fit their views.

MSNBC is doing a lot of hand wringing and gnashing of teeth while making the announcement . . .

So Delicious! I love the gloominess of her commentary with triumphant win music playing in the background. Her sorrow is like food for my soul.

And here's another little gem: As current VP, Kamala Harris will have to certify the election in January for Trump. I simply CANNOT WAIT to watch the look on her face as she strikes that gavel! :ROFLMAO:

At state level:

WISCONSIN, the GOP still holds control over the legislature in Wisconsin, despite a losing battle to re-draw their district maps. Wisconsin also now requires US citizenship to vote.

CALIFORNIA, crime is now illegal again in California. By a wide margin, Californians voted in a tough new crime law.

FLORIDA, a wide open abortion law FAILED to pass in Florida. A more open drug/marijuana policy also FAILED to pass in Florida

Very slim GOP lead in the Senate race in Nevada.

12% of the vote is still not counted.

GOP already picked up 3 seats. This is a possible 4th seat. But likely would result in a recount if the margin remains so tight.

Just over 180,000 votes left to count.

In the attempt to flip the Michigan Senate seat, Mike Rogers is down about 6500 votes in an astonishingly tight race. But 97% of the vote is already counted. So very unlikely he will make up the spread. If he does, this would be the 4th (or possibly 5th, if Nevada flips) seat flipped from Democrat to GOP in this cycle.

There are still 175,000+ votes to count.

Will Pennsylvania's Senate Seat FLIP to the GOP?

96% of the vote in.

GOP has 50,000 vote advantage at the moment.

But there are just over 250,000 votes left to count.

But still too close to call.

Realistically the GOP has an outside chance of picking up 2 more Senate seats. Nevada and Pennsylvania are still in play. GOP holds very slim leads.

Wisconsin is going to stay with Democrats. 99% of vote in, Democrat is up by over 1% point.
Arizona will probably stay with Democrats? 62% of the vote in, Democrat is up by 2.8%. Still a lot of counting to do there.
Pennsylvania is TOO CLOSE to call. 96% of the vote in, margin is 0.7%, GOP leading.
Michigan is TOO CLOSE to call. 97% of the vote in, margin is 0.3% spread with the Democrat leading.
Nevada is TOO CLOSE to call. 88% of the vote in, so still a way to go. Margin is 0.1% with the GOP leading.

Currently all 5 of those seats are held by Democrats. So if Nevada and Pennsylvania go to the GOP then those would be FLIPS

Fox News just called Michigan for Trump. That's a total sweep of the so called "Blue Wall." He is now at 292 electoral votes, with AZ, NV, and AK all looking to be called for him as well.

Pennsylvania is looking better for the GOP to pick up another SENATE seat, which would be +4 in the Senate, making the total 53 if it happens.

Now 97% of the vote is in, margin is till holding. Dave McCormick may end up flipping the Keystone state and beating incumbent Democrat Bob Casey. This is the seat that is MOST LIKELY to FLIP to the GOP.

In Michigan, Nevada and Arizona the results remain the same.

In Wisconsin the Democratic lead is narrowing, but the Republican remains behind, now by 0.9%

WISCONSIN Senate Result. Democrat Tammy Baldwin, incumbent in Wisconsin, has been officially called the winner. Democrats RETAIN that Senate Seat.

Arizona is still counting, but these are the declared states for each candidate.

Trump is the clear winner. Not even close.

PROJECTED total is 312 E.C. votes for Trump versus 226 E.C. votes for Harris.

Hopefully a decisive victory will result is a peaceful transition of power.

Both the POPULAR vote and the ELECTORAL COLLEGE vote are decisive. Nobody can really argue these results. It will be hard for people to even claim, given the FLIP of the Senate, that the incoming President does NOT have a mandate.

That will be the major concern from now until Jan 6 certification, and maybe even after that. Will the Left accept Trump's win and move on, or will they refuse to accept it? After all, they've called him everything from a criminal to Hitler, and that the country would implode if he ever got into office again. We'll see if that was just a bunch of empty talk that they really don't believe, or if they really do. If the latter, what wouldn't they do to stop Orange Hitler Antichrist from becoming the Evil Dictator of the United States?

So, let's hope it's the former, and they accept the overwhelming will of the American people.

Will Harris will just disappear into nothingness, like go back to California? Hopefully, she won't be another Hilary and Obama, and keep popping back up, like a bad case of VD. Speaking of VD, did you see where AOC got re-elected, again?

Venereal Disease is right. Herpes to be more precise, because she is annoying and keeps popping up at the worst times. At least two of her former "squad" members are gone though: Jamal Bowman and Cory Bush.

Looks like the GOP thrived in 2024.

If this upcoming term is a success and sets up JD Vance (with Tulsi Gabbard or some other strong VP candidate) for the 2028 election, which seems like something that the Trump administration would like to do, then 2032 should be a cakewalk for the GOP in the Electoral College because 3 huge Blue States will lose a total of 10 Electoral College votes. Add 1 lost EV vote each for Rhode Island, Oregon and Minnesota and there are 13 liberal blue state E.C. that will be sent to mostly reliably conservative states.

Wisconsin and Pennsylvania also lose 1 E.C. vote each, they are swing states, making each of them slightly less important.

Delaware, a reliably liberal blue state, picks up 1 E.C. vote.

Georgia, Arizona and North Carolina, also swing states, but all are also modestly conservative swing states, each pick up 1 EC vote, making them slightly more important.

I hope Trump plays the long game. Giving popular decisions to the credit of JD, and the unpopular ones show JD a bit in debate with the unpopular decisions. Set him up for a win in 4 years. Trump has nothing to lose. He can do all the bad stuff. Like deporting 10,000,000 illegals and fast tracking a huge wall, empowering ICE to get rid of the illegals, get all the NATO members to pay up including backpay, eliminating the DOE and giving that to the states, severely restricting the the letter agencies, and reversing EVERY Biden EO and all his hires.

Add to that MOVING some of the Letter Agencies OUT of Washington.

Dept of Agriculture to Iowa?
Dept of Indian Affairs to Nebraska?
Dept of the Interior to Utah or Nevada?

Break apart the FBI into divisions. White Collar Crime Division can go to Pennsylvania. Drug/Gang interdiction division can go to Texas. Interstate sex trafficking, child trafficing, (special victims unit) to Kansas City.

The list could go on and on and on.
