To answer your question: YES YES YES! An asshole is an asshole no matter what party he/she belongs to.

But you will still vote Democrat, right Bone?

BoneheadNW said:
When are you going to get it? Are you so naive as to think that things are so black and white, all democrats are evil, all republicans are saints? Wake up man!

Did I ever say that at anytime or on any forum here? :confused2: You know better, you're just being funny; you silly goose! :gay:

While you say that everything is not black and white; everthing is not some liberal shade of gray.

With regards to you not seeing me speak out against democrats, while it may or may not have happened here on FF, I believe that a lying, cheating, politician does not belong in office. Therefore, the DEMOCRAT that Dutch was referrring to here:

I think this guy was WRONG and SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ELECTED.

But you're still going to vote Democrat anyway; right bone?

BoneheadNW said:
There, you saw it so it must be true, right? By the way, I'm sure you have never seen a blue whale, at least in person, so they probably don't exist either. Nope, that's right, all those pictures on tv, but never seen one in person- they don't exist.:yankchain:
Bonehead.

Hmmmm....I've never seen you......and being the neanderthal conservative libertarian that I am means you don't exist, right? :confused2:  :D

OK, let me give you an example. One of our fire commisioners, who I know personally, is running for state representative as a democrat. As far as I am concerned, he is one of the biggest opportunistic a-holes that I have ever met. His opponent, a republican woman, is conservative in her views, but is an accomplished, intellegent, woman. I will vote for her, a REPUBLICAN. Now, does this mean I will vote for all republicans? Does this mean I will vote for all democrats? No and no. Vote for the better candidate, regardless of party. Do you do the same?

Does this make it any clearer for you, silly goose?

I readily admit I don't check any "D's" on election day, especially in the federal election. I'll check the Libertarian in local races because that is where the Libertarians must get their foothold.

The last time I voted for Dems was in '92 when I voted for Slick Willy and against every incumbent, regardless of party. But, thanks to Clinton, I and most Americans learned the truth about Democrats and I have not voted for one since. Clinton's election was my political awakening, you could say.

Sorry, but I cannot vote for socialists, and the Dems are largely socialists. It's Libertarians or Republicans for me. Yes, I am biased against liberal-socialism and I readily admit it. Always have, always will you silly goose.

I am one of the biggest practical jokers- everything from taco sauce under the toilet seat to wet oatmeal in someones bed.

Taco sauce under the toilet seat and wet oatmeal in bed. Hmmm....

Do you do that at home to your wife and family? Or, at a friend’s house?

Oh, I forgot.... You’re a Democrat..... You probably do it at work, where you get paid for that nonsense, at taxpayers’ expense.

But, when it comes to doing my job and/or behaving in front of the public, I consider myself to be a professional. That is what the public and my coworkers expect of me and, more importantly, how a trained professional should act.

Professionals should BEHAVE professionally at all times, not just ACT (pretend) professionally when they're in front of the public.

Sounds like you’re deceptive and two faced.

And, that's the primary difference between us, and what makes you so stupid. Like Bone, I vote for the person. I don't care much for Republican dirty tricks (they have always been nastier than Dems), but that's the fault of people like Karl Rove and Ken Mehlman, not the guy running for a local office.

I have no trouble voting for a Republican if they are the better person for the job, whereas you have just admitted you will never vote for a Democrat. You'll vote for a scumbag or waste your vote before you vote for a better person -- and you think you're something special? That's the jerkiest thing I've heard anyone say in ages.

By the way, I've already voted -- yesterday, in early voting here in Florida. I voted for one Republican for county commission and one Republican for State Representative. In the National elections, the Democrat for the House is a better man (Mahoney), and the Republican for Senate was rejected by her own party (Katherine Harris). Most thinking Republicans, not the neanderthal knee-jerk jerks like you, will be voting for the Democrats in this case.

It does sound that way doesn't it? Yet based on your admissions of dirty tricks, what does that make you? Your own definition of professional completely eliminates you as one. Wait, don't tell me- the fact that you admitted that you played the dirty tricks at least doesn't make you two faced, right? Are things really that different in New Jersey? Please don't take that as a knock on your state- my parents grew up there.

Damn right it does............Your admitted private behavior belies your phoney public performances.

Most people think I’m creative and resourceful. Especially compared to the uninventive and humorless opponents.

That’s right...... Most people appreciate my honesty. Especially when I clean up after the campaign. I even clean up after the lazy, two faced opponents who are too busy whining, crying and complaining about their defeat.

Don’t over-estimate your own importance. You must be full of yourself to think you have the ability to influence how anyone’s home state is viewed.

Some day I should hope to be as enlightened and eloquent as you, Don. :horsepoop:

Believe me, the practical jokes played at work by me and those I work with are anything but private. Your work environment, if you do or ever have worked, must be very sterile. Oh, but wait, you are a professional.

Wow, I go out of my way to ensure that you don't take my comment about New Jersey as a knock on your state and you make a paranoid statement like that! Lighten up Dutch, the world is not out to get you.:hide: By the way, what's that behind you? :yum:

I think there are some obvious insults being tossed around in this thread and I consider it beyond civil when that happens. Before the moderators have to officially step in, I'd suggest that several people need to take a step back from their keyboards and read what they wrote before submitting their posts. We don't want to have to start deleting posts and reprimanding members. Let's not cross that line.

Never been to the Stone Pony. My bar hopping days go back to Tony Mart’s and the Dunes, and I didn’t frequent those places either.

Drunken college girls, nerds, beach bums, and jocks never interested me. I was never a “Dude.”

Do you still hang at places serving $1 Coors and $2 Jager shots listening to “music” by groups like CANNIBAL CORPSE, DYING FETUS and NECROPHAGIST?

To answer your question, no, gave up drinking along time ago. Have no clue as to the bands you've mentioned, but by acciddent did catch a great show there some time ago, and was a great memory.

I was however interested in drunken college girls when I went to college, and a short time thereafter, but then came across other interests, and hanging around colleges wasn't one of them.

As far as jocks, could see that in your area for various reasons.

Beaches? I found out some time ago "down south" they call it the "shore", and I can see why. I used to live on the Cape (Cape Cod, Mass.), spent time working in the Gulf Shore (Alabama, Pennsecola sp?), done some fishing on the Outter banks, and my family owned some "beachfront" rental property on the boardwalk in Atlantic City (which we sold along time ago). Also dated a girl from Jersey when I lived in Pa and did hit some "beaches" for fun in Jersey. I realize opinions are like buttholes, that being said, Jersey does not have beaches, they have dumps.
