My father who is barely computer literate is having a problem with his e-mail
Below is an example of what he sends:

I know there has to be a setting wrong somewhere, but for the life of me cannot figure it out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is he copying and pasting out of some sort of format such as MS Word or something. A lot of the clutter is HTML formatting and word can a will transpose a huge amount of clutter when copying out of it to other formatting. If this is the issue a lot of it can be cleansed by copying it through notepad before proceeding to paste it into his email client.

Try to provide a bit more info so maybe somebody can get to the root of the issue for you.
 
What email is he using? Outlook or thunderbird? The format setting for sending is set wrong. Look for a setting for Html. It is probably set to inline.
 
Sorry. Most of these are forwarded messages through windows explorer. He uses embarq as his ISP.
Basically, he gets an e-mail, and it looks ok, but when he forwards it, it gets filled up with HTML language defining instead of just showing the message.
I will check the HTML setting on explorer and see what it says, thanks guys, I forgot to check that.
 
Hopefully that will solve the issue for him, you may also want to consider editing your first post. The bots are liable to harvest the address and spam the you know what out of them.
