My Kitty Amigo

I can relate Leni.
After almost 23 years, we are slowly losing our monarch, Queen Cleopatra who is in a slow decline. She will pass soon and her royal reigh over our household will sadly end.

But we have been taken in by Sir Merlin, a brash up start trailer trash tom cat with no royal blood or pedigree of any note. A rakish brute who has no wealth or family name, who none the less, has worked his way into our hearts.


And I don't even like cats.

But he does ease the pain of her passing.

I am sorry for your loss but these creatures who rule us, come and go. Do not go for long without royalty in your house. You should go and get another one.

Oh yeah. Sorry buddy but you've been had. Cats slink their way into our hearts.

At first Tom did not want another one. Then he started talking about getting another kitty in a year. Now it is down to a few weeks. He never had a pet as a youngster. He tolerated all of my cats but was slowly learning why I wanted them. Amigos loss is really hitting him as hard as it gets. He keeps thinking about all of the small things that kitty did. He really needs another cat. :>)
