My dad's first tractor

I finally finished the restoration of my dad's 1956 Farmall 100 , stretched it to long with other projects on the go. Other than my obsession with Bombardier snocats , red tractors are my thing, with four restored and quite a few more candidates on the list to do .I've been wanting to get these pictures, and a month ago it happened, same tractor, same guy, with a 60 year spread between pics ..

Finally got back my dad's International Super W6 TA ,tractor back on the farm yesterday .It's been through 5 owners since we sold it 47 years ago . Lots of memories as a kid on this tractor ,so I guess another tractor restoration will begin in the spring......

Ended up after the oil change replacing the plug wires ,filed the points and hooked up a remote gas tank. 3rd crank it started ,have a couple weak holes , but it cleared up the longer it ran .Went through the gears ,torque and pto worked and the diff was quiet , a good starting point for next year. Just got to check the antifreeze and put her to bed for the winter....inside.... no more outside parking.
