Mom In Hospital

Update. Sorry so late, but I've been busy.
We came close 3 times to losing Ma, but she was just too tough to go.
They sent her home Tuesday before, even though she would have preferred some rehab. I and my wife went down and cared for her 24/7 for a week, but finally had to take time to deal with moving. Had to hire a sitter for two days. But, today she is walking around the house without a walker, and actually took a stroll around the farm, even though she did use a walker. The rest of the family was down, so after speaking to folks, we pulled out to get a little bit of head space time.
All of you who prayed for and thought of my mama are greatly appreciated. Some of the wishes conveyed here made her smile, and helped keep her spirits up.
Though we don't share the same beliefs, I have to say thank you to everyone.
This is my wish to all of you:
May the Great Spirit look upon you all with favor, and good fortune and happiness find you wherever you may be. You are true friends and good people. The best wishes of one old soldier will always be with you.

Glad to hear she is home and on the mend. The older we get the harder it is to get over things. Tell her to be good and rest up for spring planting.:clap:

:flowers: That is very good news Jeff.
Bless her precious heart.

Crap.
mom went back in the hospital with a fever. Originally thought a touch of pneumonia, but a cat scan showed an enlarged appendix. They took the appendix yesterday pm, and still have her in ICU. Seems having a heart attack places her at increased risk. Kind of a no duh, but it had to come out.

Here as well. Hoping fo the best for you and your mother. We have a family friend who had hers appendix out at 93, and that was 4 years ago. Set a new record with surgeon! She had a full recovery, and is withus today. Prayers that your mother can enjoy her health again....

Best regards, Kirk

Sending positive vibes; I'll be thinking of you both loboloco... She's brave, and it would seem she has a strong spirit, so be strong with her also. :flowers:

Hope she is back home soon and giving you a hard time to stay out of trouble! That's a Mom's job!
