Sophie the hot rod snow cat, zoom zoomI kinda like mine with a fresh balance shaft GM V6, a TH350 and a Sniper FI.
It was fun seeing all the wrong guesses. Now the "cat" is out of the bagHmmmmm!!!
U.S. Air Force 743 built with special flat deck, and special freighter ice tracks, used to haul material up for wind testing gas turbines and helicopter blades.on the mountain. I been trying to get this machine for years belonged to a guy ive known for 40 years. The only thing that made the deal is he gets right of first refusal if i decide to sell it. Hes also 20 years younger then me !!!!Take a look at this article:https://www.mountwashington.org/experience-the-weather/observer-comments.aspx?id=58855
Time period is right for that to have been involved with the US Air Force and US Army.
This pic is probably later than 1951 from the article and I believe one of these 443’s is my WMTW 1953 443 which may have crossed tracks with this Freighter.

Those are both newer then my 1951, seems the air force wasn't much into photos during the cold war time. That freighter has a lot wider cab ,thinking photos in the mid to late 50's.I like the sliding door setup !! Don
