I can only imagine the pain!

What's happening with the young Amish girl? Is she healing okay?
As far as I know she is coming along nicely. I personally have not seen her since the weekend. Might have to stop down there this evening. Will let you know.

They took her back to the local hospital for some IV fluids Thursday. Wife took her down a wheelchair and bedside toilet as she is not strong enough to use my walker yet. Today we took her a special potted plant we made up just for her and she seems in good spirits. She is disappointed at the pace of her recovery but that is the youth in her wanting things to go faster than they can. This will be a long time process till she regains her mobility.

Well I have a very nice update on this young lady. She did heal and was able to come up here a few times last summer and work plants with the wife. She had to back up her marriage date about 4 months but got married and last night I took her to have her first baby. She cut it close as she had the baby 1 hr and 20 minutes after I took her there. She is living in the little place behind where her parents had lived before moving. She had a beautiful little girl 6lb8oz with the nicest head of long dark hair. Born at 1:05 and I brought them home at 8 this morning. Wife said she showed her her burns and there is almost no scarring at all anywhere on her body. Just amazing what a herbal remedy like that can do. I took old John over some extra walkers and canes I had access to and he seened to be hanging in pretty well last I saw him. Life and the next generation goes on.
