I thought we were going to be on the metric system in 1977.
I wish it did happen.
My Father wasn't so sure about that he said it was confusing.
I asked him when he had his first paying job, he said when he was 12 (he was in his late 50 for this conversation)
I told him he has been using the metric system at age 12 then when he got paid a dollar and a bottle of soda was 10 cents, he still couldn't grasp it that everything was base 10.
