Good ebay deals

I just scored some good deals on ebay. The durango needed a new catalytic converter. I set out to find one locally and discovered that you can't just get a cataylic converter. You have to get the whole thing from the muffler all the way to the exhaust pipes going into the heads. And all that for a low low price of $720.

I came home and set out to find the same thing on ebay. I quickly found the same thing for $212 with free shipping to the border. I ordered it.

I got to thinking that I should change the O2 sensors. Again, I looked locally and they are $100 a peice. I looked on ebay....$15 a piece with free shipping to the border.

I also ordered a couple AC block off valves for the missus' vehicle to bypass the rear AC lines so I can recharge the system and still have front AC without spending a fortune.

It's a 45 minute drive to the border. With what I save in the price of the parts and what I save by filling up there with cheap american gas, I stand to save $850 total. Not a bad deal!:clap::clap:

I love ebay! Just scored some more deals.

Since I bought the motorcycle I figured might as well dress it up with some accessories. Bought a nice set of leather saddlebags for $45 on ebay. Up here it would be over $100 for anything comparable. Also picked up some foot pegs for $22. Up here...$50. That was last week.

This week, I set out to find a nice little leather tool pouch for the front forks. I found this....http://www.ebay.com/itm/251664025402?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I priced one out at a local motorcycle shop up here for $60.

I also picked up a few other small things for the bike and atv to make the 40 minute drive to the border worth it.

Someone at some point had dropped the motorcycle. I knew this due to there being scuff marks and road rash on the rear signal lights. I took a look on ebay again to find some replacements. http://www.ebay.com/itm/191270500562?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT Good price with free shipping right to my door so I ordered them. They are an exact match for the stock signals that are on the bike now. One of the ones on there now had a cracked housing and is being held on the bike with black electrical tape. Guess I could have left it held together with tape in memory of Big Al's Kristi.:flowers:
