Gilbarco 996A-1 gas pump

My old man used to work for Esso in the late seventies , a 1950 pump like this, they would throw in the dump back then. This one made it home, was in the barn for years ,it even donated a side panel for body tin "don't ask ". So we decided to restore it , that side panel can be yours for 200 bucks today, if you can find it , which we did. Other than the panel and a computer everything else was there, for a cosmetic resto , just needed door and glass rubbers and a repro globe. Blasted and massaged , blue and white for ESSO EXTRA colors , just have to put the glass in the panels. No it's not going outside, ......the original plan......, I can see a lawnmower launching a rock into the side of it , man cave it is.
