Get a load of this one, scam or what

The USPS posts lists of stolen and counterfeit money order forms and the serial numbers. There are thousands of them in the US and Canada. SO sometimes you may get an authentic "looking" money order, it could also be stolen.

I guess you forgot to wait for the Fedex account number.. bummer

The idiot still wants to send me the Fedex pickup and number. I have asked the police in my email if they would like me to set up a sting operation on him.

Alex, That sure does look like a church. Could this be real? I don't think so. I'll do a search for churches in that city and see what I find.

Here is what is at that address.

H&S Convience Store
33 Western Avenue, Gloucester, MA

No.

I don't know how to get the email header from Netscape. I've have not used that in 10 years or so. Does anyone know how to tell him how to get the email header info from Netscape? The directions I gave you were for MS Outlook (or Outlook Express). From the header you will see more info about where the email originated. I'd bet that it was not from inside the U.S.

Tell them to send the pick up slip. That way, you will have another part of the puzzle. Put a concrete block in a box and send it to them... Junk...

Junk, What a great idea. I think a few cylinder heads would be about the right weight. Actually it might take 4 cylinder heads. I think the generator weighs 160 pounds. Damn your good.:yum: :yum: :yum:

Now that would really suck. Good M.O. but can't cash it. I like your little girl picture. Shame on you.

The best part so far is that the Post Office doesn't send email confirmation of money orders purchased. To my knowledge, you can't purchase a postal money order at any place other than a post office.

Jim.... yes, I am interested in knowing the output of the generator and the cost. I am serious about the purchase..... Junk...

That is correct. I checked it out today. You need to see a postman or visit the Post Office to buy a M.O.

I emailed the so called sister again regarding delivering the generator for a cash payoff. The reply was, Please forward the package weight so I can proceed with this pickup. He He He, I need some stones off of my stone wall to ship to him.:yum: :yum: :yum:

sorry Junk... that was over my head. It was supposed to be ironicially funny.
You should know by now that I am not a religous guy.

The idiot replied today witht his message. " Why don't you just drop it off at Fedex" My reply, "Your tracking number on that Money Order is BOGUS"
I had emailed the information to the USPS. They replied with a scam report. However they had no interest whatsoever in setting this bastard up for a sting. No reply from the local city police of Gloucester, Ma. either. Nobody cares as nobody has gotten hurt yet. Makes me want to take a nice leisurely ride up there with a box of bricks and say I am a private contractor for FEDEX and meet the a-hole face to face at the convenience store. Then drop the box on his feet by accident and leave. Or better yet, knock him over and drop them on his legs. I think about 100 pounds would do it just about right.

I think that is why more and more people are trying the scam thing. There seems to be no down side. Nobody seems interested in pursuing someone perpetrating the scam, therefore, the scammers continue to get more and more bold in their scams.

I think you are on to something Dargo.. interesting that they would pick the US Postal service for the counterfeit money order. They probably don't have any budget or resources to fight this.

I think I have the right idea. Take matters into my own hands and pistol whip the sonofabitch. Too bad this would get me arrested for assault and battery. Here the criminal has more rights than the good guy.
