Doc, I agree. I HATE roundabouts. They are going to put a roundabout here in Spencer, Iowa and everyone here HATES them!
A truck driver I know told me he has a real problem with them when there is snow on the ground.
 
A big issue with truck drivers is that some roundabouts are crowed onto the small areas of the former intersections. The subsequent radius is too small for them to stay in their lane when a tractor trailer is pulling a 40' or 53' van.

meh, not a big issue, just be a courteous driver, give the trucker space, an it is not an issue. The only time it is an issue is when the other drivers are total jerks.

Well of course, be a courteous driver. I'll yell that out the window next time a little compact fails to yield to a big rig. :(


I wasn't talking about the truck driver who has no choice but to use up both lanes.
 
The roundabout chatter made me think of the below video - warning - Bosnian Ape Society is an acquire taste in the humor realm….;-)
