Front mounted self powered snowblower

I have a MF 65 tractor with a rear mounted 3 point snow blower. It runs very well off the pto but my neck and back are suggesting that a front mounted blower would be much more comfortable and efficient. Obviously this 1958 tractor has neither a front mounted pto nor enough hydrAlice power to push a snowblower. I do have a loader mounted on the front that would be perfect to mount a front blower. I have seen a few self powered blowers that would fit my situation. Does anyone have experience with this type of blower system. Any info or feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I built the above unit from a Uni Harvester AWD 708 tractor and a rear mounted blower.
It has more than enough engine power to run everything well.
We don't have to use it much, but when the time comes it gets it done well.
The piles from pushing up snow are gone, and the windrow on the ground is tiny, refreezes
and doesn't blow easily.
In Your case not sure you have enough motor to do both. But you are on the right track.

I've not seen a front loader on a MF65 so I don't know what all you have available out the front.
Thinking outside the box here. If you have a good working system out the back, would it be easier to somehow ergonomically change the drivers area? Is there room to pivot the seat? I remember sitting on the fender while someone else was driving without issue so is there space?

Definitely hard on the neck ,I have the same problem with a 684 Int . You do see front harness setup for blowers come up for sale but usually for the big horsepower tractors ,not many for 39-40 HP range. I solved my problem temporarily , my young lad does it and I stick to plowing .

That time of year, but not huge on snowblowers myself.
I've contemplated building a blower for my telehandler. It has the hyd flow to run one.
Be nice to also throw it on the tractor if needed but the tractor doesn't have enough hyd flow.
A self powered unit would work best but damn the last thing I need is another engine to maintain!

A snowblower needs more horsepower than a run of the mill 'remote' type engine is likely to supply.
Think 40 HP rather than 13 . There are garden tractor type blowers at about 3-4 feet wide. I have no idea how well those work but they aren't very wide....

Look at the success of 2 engine snowblowers like Siccard, Walter or an airport set up if you want to see serious snow removal.

There was a company that made a snowblower that mounted on a plow frame on a truck but the 6?HP engine wasn't up to blowing much snow. If it had worked, you would see them all over the place.

Hydraulically run blowers have to be closely matched to the GPM and pressure provided by the machine.
