Papers were signed today. It is official.

Not sure if everyone is following the news, but the US has been flying REAPER DRONES over northern Mexico. US troops are also inside Mexico on a "training" mission.

Seems like an easy math equation to put 2 + 2 together and come up with the conclusion that US troops are going to be engaging the drug cartels at some point. Maybe sooner, maybe later. But it seems very likely.

John Solomon's JUST THE NEWS foundation reporting:

Trump administration designates Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations

The Mexican cartels that now bear the designation are: Cartel de Sinaloa, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generación, Carteles Unidos, Cartel del Noreste, Cartel del Golfo, and La Nueva Familia Michoacana.

The Trump administration on Wednesday designated several Mexican drug cartels and the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua as foreign terrorist organizations.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed the designation, which opens the cartels up for financial sanctions.
The Mexican cartels that now bear the designation are: Cartel de Sinaloa, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generación, Carteles Unidos, Cartel del Noreste, Cartel del Golfo, and La Nueva Familia Michoacana.
The international gang Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) is also now a foreign terrorist organization.

I wonder which drug cartel the President of Mexico works for?

Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum warned the Trump administration on Thursday that her country will not tolerate an invasion of its national sovereignty to target drug cartels.
"This cannot be an opportunity for the U.S. to invade our sovereignty," Sheinbaum said in response to the Trump administration's formal designation of eight cartels as terrorist organizations, CBS News reported. "With Mexico, it is collaboration and coordination, never subordination or interventionism, and even less invasion."
Mexico's two main drug cartels, Jalisco New Generation and Sinaloa, were included in the terrorist declaration. . .
. . .
The CIA has not been authorized to use drones to carry out strikes against the cartels, and information that is being gathered is reportedly being shared with Mexico.
Sheinbaum said Mexico plans to follow through on her promise of expanding legal action against U.S. gun manufacturers if the Trump administration declared the cartels as terrorist groups.

She's on the take from all of them. She's not doing anything to stop this. What are they going to do, send missiles our way?
More importantly to many Americans, what are we going to do without Avocadoes??? :whistling:

It has to be tough for the Cartels to understand US policy makers who, under Obama, were quite willing to facilitate firearm sales to the Cartels. And then later Biden allowed for lucrative migration and drug supply programs that paid them off in high profits.
But now, we want to snuff them out?
No wonder they don't trust us.
