Doing a Bob thingy?

Looking at the FF member map if Bonehead gets a bus, along the way he could pick up (in sequence):
Murph
Av8r
DaveNay
Bob S
WayBomb (bring your boat :thumb: )
Wannafish
JohnDay
JayC
TomLesco
(and more... sorry, the dots are getting too close)
Now I'm getting a bus? This is getting more expensive by the minute. The biggest vehicle I own is an E350 van so some of you are going to have to ride on eachothers lap or we can strap you to the roof like a deer. Also I should tell you that I only shower on Saturday nights so I might be kinda ripe by the end of the week.

OK. No hurry.
I think we're within about 75-100 miles so whatever works.

Oh, did I mention that I have a gas problem? :fart2:
Bone

I believe that has been effectively communicated in several of your recent writings!!:D :D

Now don't swell up and hurt yourself!!

If DZ was passing through this week with that Kimber, that may have been an option.

Turns out I have about a month to "goof off" so to speak with work.

When you want me to bring that Kimber up?

Picked up a burn barrel from an oil customer of mine (thks for the suggestion here, I can be VERY stupid at times:whistle: ).

About a 6 hour drive form me, but I can kill 3 birds with one stone by coming up.

Thinking about it though, not sure how we would work a private out of state handgun sale if I brought it up. Normally I would ship it via my FFL to your FFL (usually a $25 fee). In N.C, legally you need the purchasers (sp?) pistol permit issued by the sheriffs dept. to sell the gun "in state between two private parties". You "could" do so without it, but...if any "issues" came up with the gun in question (by serial #) the original private seller could have some legal problems by not following the law.
Not sure if I could just bring it up to an FFL up there and sell it to them, and in turn they would sell it to you.

I should have ordered myself a set of Westin grill/brush guards, nerf bars and Bob's PIAA lights.

Brian, sorry pal, but I'm keeping the PIAAs.

I am on a quest to build an 'original' Snow Trac roof rack. After my research, I'm not sure that one actually ever existed. I'm going over photos of every Snow Trac I can find on the internet and will use the most common design I can find as my model. I decided to mount the PIAAs up on the roof rack. I'm also planning on putting a pair of flood lamps on the rear. The rear lights will be helpful if I ever need to pull a car out of the snow. The fronts will be a good source of additional light.

The reason I am keeping the PIAAs is because I found a pair of original Snow Trac lights in Scotland.

I see that you already have the best bang for your buck on the "do it yourself" car A/C repair, but I was wondering how bad you hurt yourself? I think I see the top of one crutch on the driver's side in the rear window. Hopefully you didn't drop that replacement A/C unit on your foot while doing the retrofit, did you?

Jay, if I strap myself to the roof, can I stick my tongue out too??:thumb::pat:

OK, quick... let me write this down while I'm remembering it.

DZ - For now, I'm going to pass on the Kimber. I thought about it and I think I'm going for more "practical" things. Although I still "want it", it's on the back burner.

Neil - I'll take one of those Stihl backpack blowers we kicked around earlier. When I find the link, I'll buy through FF.

Just ordered a pair of snow pants (why do they call it a pair when you only get one???). Bye-bye another $269.

Oh man... I forgot the rest. I was out in my shop kicking around things but didn't write them down. Shame on me. BTW - for all of you under 40... When you hit 40, start carrying paper and pen. If not written down, you'll forget it.

Let me know when, don't think it's going anywhere;)
