really. I face real life and deal with it EVERDAY and don't whine like a girl either. I also do not whine and complain about my drive time either. Don't like it change it. If not, deal with it like a man.
Agan time to wake up and face life as many do everyday.

We have no history, no disagreements, etc. Now, you have a right to express yourself, but it seems to me that all of your posts talking about people "whining" about higher gas prices, taxes, whatever, is just that- WHINING! As least I agree with ya. The same people complaining about fuel prices are at the same whinning level as kids...Now that is funny.
I can't wait till they raise prices again this summer and then same people will only wish the prices were like now....

To close, this thread was about crude oil and turned into a bitch and whine about life, work, oil, blah blah.
I have been there done that for the people think I need "face real life". I have been laidoff, took pay cuts etc. Yes it sucks but I am going to suck it up and move onward & upward. In fact my wife too a pay CUT of, well, more then my old F350 powerstroke. Yup, it sucked but like most we live with it.
Do I think it (auto fuel) is high, nope. Look at the last few years and it has been pretty flat on average. Now some may have issues paying for the slight increase with it and home heating fuel. I am very sorry for that but there are many more in the same boat and you are not alone.
My heat and elec bill was almost as high as my mortage, my taxes for my house are 3 times what they were 2 years ago. Everyone is in the same boat. But I persoanlly think you can complain all you want; but in the end after all the complain, you will be no farther ahead then before you started.

I argree but it is just some FYI. I told her since she is a grown up and she can make the call. If you like driving 1.25 hours one way to work for XXX dollars that is great; glad it is not me. I said it is really worth it? If so maybe we could move since it is a joke. I told her hell, why not drive to NY city while you are at it! We both laugh over that.
So she took a little cut (big one) and now works 8 minutes from home; about even on the pay scale. Even then, it was well worth the pay cut. Less driving time, less money on gas, less wear on her and the car etc.
So the moral is, if you want to do something about it, you are the only one that can change it.

And yes we have talked about her staying at home full-time and I would not need a second job. She does not want to do that (stay at home). She needs to get out. Plus if I need a second job for money, I would find a better first job and call it a day. But that is me.
