Attention All Ye Cabela's Purchasers

I use it all the time but not for the stuff you're looking at. When the Bargain Cave catalog comes in, I scan it for something I may "need" and order it online. I've got some really good deals over the years. The last couple of times though they have had some "teasers" in the catalog that are not available or sold out when you go to order them.
 
I got a very nice coat last year that is fleece lined, as well as some other clothing.

Their stuff holds up very well through washings and fits to a T.

I'll wear that coat until it falls apart, all the other stuff too.

OK, I have a Cabela's offer I can't use and offering to forum members.

You have to use at one of their retail stores. No internet orders.

If you spend $100-200, they activate this card with $25 on it.
If you spend $200-300, they activate this card with $50 on it.
If you spend $300-400, they activate this card with $75 on it.
If you spend $400-500, they activate this card with $100 on it.
If you spend $500 or more, they activate this card with $150 on it.

The card can't be used on the purchase you made to get the card activated.
The card must be activated (via a purchase) by Oct 3. The card is then good until Jan 2, 2011.

Heck Brian, I didn't know I 'needed' one until I saw the sale today. :hide: An impulse purchase for sure. Seemed like a good deal and I have use for it.

Cabela's did a coupon offer like that a couple of years ago and i found a new Ruger Mini-14 marked down to $569 from $699 because they had lost the free scope rings out of the box.
I bought it with my Cabela's points, then used the $150 gift card to buy SWMBO a bunch of clothes out of the bargain cave and me a case of plinking ammo. (62 grain jhp)
I think my total out of pocket that day was under $225.

If your coat holds up as well as the ones we've gotten there, don't count on wearing it til it falls apart. Your kids (or grand-kids) may be able to wear it out though.

:smile: Oh I like Cabela's a lot!

They have really nice clothes for women that fit me well, personally. A lot of their form fitting tops especially.
Nothing shrinks or goes out of shape, they just wear out slowly and I feel like I get my money's worth.
However, there are times when I am a Macy's gal and can jack up the $$$$$ in no time flat.
These days I try to avoid doing that, with the economy and all.:doh:
