The gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump Saturday was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, sources told The Post.

Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pa., squeezed off shots — one of which grazed Trump in the ear — at an outdoor rally in Butler, just outside Pittsburgh.

Sources said Crooks was planted on a roof of a manufacturing plant more than 130 yards away from the stage at Butler Farm Show grounds.
He was killed by Secret Service snipers. An AR-style rifle was later recovered.

Bethel Park is a village 40 miles south of where the Butler rally was held.

Why Crooks fired on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is unclear.

It amazes me that the Secret Service snipers on the perimeter were able to return fire within seconds of the sniper's attack on Trump, but somehow, despite a clear view of that building's white roof, did not notice a prone person with a rifle preparing to shoot the former President.

I wasn't there but the question haunts.

WASHINGTON — Robert F. Kennedy Jr said Saturday night that Donald Trump’s “courage” was “inspirational” when he was shot in an assassination attempt.

The independent presidential candidate, whose father and uncle were assassinated in the 1960s, said that he had reached out to Trump, 78, following the shooting.

“I sent a message out, a note out to President Trump tonight and to his family, telling him how relieved I am that he was not more than badly injured, wishing him quick recovery, thanking him for his career during that event, which was inspirational,” Kennedy said in an interview on “Hannity.”

“I really hope that President Biden reaches out to President Trump and offers him a podium somewhere with the two of these men and reassure the nation… to make an effort to change the tone of this campaign, so that we all can sort of inspire us all to start being kind to each other.”
Kennedy, 70, has requested Secret Service protection — which can be granted by Biden — but has been rebuffed, even though his uncle President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 and his father, then-presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, was fatally shot in 1968.

Kennedy has about 9.3% support in national polls, according to an average of recent surveys by RealClearPolitics — trailing behind Trump at 43.1% and Biden at 38.8%.

Biden condemned the shooting, which killed one rallygoer, as “sick” in Saturday evening remarks and cut short his weekend stay at his Delaware beach home to return to the White House.

This is probably closer to the truth. The CIA, FBI, and DHS know that Trump will be coming for them if he gets elected. The shooter was a disposable pawn that almost succeeded. The fact that he was promptly dispatched to cover up any real truth findings was way too convenient. The deep state is the real enemy here.

Hillary is a light weight compared to Bath House Barry. Soros even thought so with it was Hillary's turn to run for POTUS.
Don't underestimate the hate Obama has for Trump and Trump for Obama. Many in the know believe it was Obama at a Press dinner

What is Crooks' background?​

Crooks is registered to vote as a Republican in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, according to county voter records. His voter registration status has been active since 2021.

Federal Election Commission records show that in January 2021, Crooks made a $15 donation to the Progressive Turnout Project, a group working to increase voter turnout for Democrats.

Born Sept. 20, 2003, Crooks does not have a criminal record in Pennsylvania, nor has he been sued there, according to state court records. There is no record of him in federal court databases, either.

Watching the SS response on the platform.... there needs to be a weight and height requirement for those directed to protect the president. Those two short fat chicks had no business being there.
 
I know the venue that Trump was at very well having been going there for decades.
Toward the bottom center, there's 3 buildings. The SS snipers were there.
Top center is a cluster of white buildings. The bad guy was on the roof of the building closest to the field in between (which is where Trump and the crowd were.
What a TOTAL lapse of security!
Why wasn't that area protected?
Why didn't the SS snipers see him beforehand? It's in plain site!
Why did the shooter get off 4 shots at Trump before they reacted?

As far as I am concerned that is the number one question right now. There are times in life when someone or some organization performs so blatantly bad in a position where they should and need to know better that to blame it simply on incompetence is a compliment. I question the motives on the people in charge of the Rally's security.

In Israel such a failure and breakdown in security by those who are supposed to know better is a felony. Not good enough the SS director be fired, she should be charged with criminal negligence at the very least. Same with the SS agent in charge on site.

All of this smells to high heaven. This has the fingerprints of the deep state all over it. Crooks was used as a patsy just like Oswald was. Thank God the Deep State dumbasses shit the bed again like they usually do.

This isn’t incompetence or failure of duty. There is someone, or several members of the Secret Service involved in this. That’s where the investigation should begin, but like I said, we’ll never know all the details.
 
The S.S. shooter was not told to shoot until Trump went to the ground hit.
Then is the order was given to shoot.

So, did the S.S. know this was going to happen?
Was the FBI used to identify and encourage the shooter as they did with the 3 men in the Gretchen Whitmer case giving them cash and instructions on what to do?

Will we ever know the truth with the current Democratic administration with the shit that has been pulled in the last 3 years?

The only way we can get answers to any of this is to elect Donald J trump. :tiphat:
 
IF it was an inside job we will never know the truth. Even if Trump is elected. The guilty have already covered their ass and will be pointing blame elsewhere to confused the issue. They are pros at burying the truth.
 
Biden speaks again tonight with more horseshit spewing from his demented pie hole. Tone down the rhetoric he will say. I reject that wholeheartedly. The one party that has normalized political violence in America is his party, not the Republicans.

Case in point;

Threatened Supreme Court justices because they had different views to their party over abortion as Senator Chuck Schumer did.

Publicly told her followers to surround and harass any member of the Trump cabinet they see in public like Congresswoman Mad Max did.

Call for physical violence again President Trump, as former Democrat Speaker Piglosi has done.

Raised funds to pay for the bail of BLM rioters arrested for arson and vandalism as Chymalda Harris the fake vice president, has done.,

Or, just 5 days ago, tell an audience of his political supporters that they have to put a “bullseye” on President Trump, like President Bi-done did.

No, no, never. If there is one political party in America that has enflamed passions and dehumanized those they politically disagree with, especially President Donald Trump, it is the Democrat Party.

Fuck them all and may they all rot in hell.
 
If this was a conspiracy of the SS or the Biden government or whatever, then it was the stupidest conspiracy ever. Even if it had "succeeded" and Trump was killed, it would have backfired on the left. It has only made Trump and the whole conservative movement stronger.

If Trump had been assassinated, then he would have become a sympathetic, martyr figure, and somebody else, such as one of his possible VP picks, would have just picked up the torch with Trump's same policies and been elected in Trump's memory in a landslide of emotional and patriotic support from the majority of Americans. As it is, Trump survived an assassination attempt, and combined with his immediate defiant and inspirational reaction, this event has only increased the respect and admiration for him.

The next thing to look out for is the motivation of the shooter. Expect the left to scramble to paint this young man as a disillusioned far right lunatic who attacked Trump because the latter did not go far enough to the right for his tastes. That would be the only way for the left to limit the damage this does to them because of the way their constant previous attacks on Trump as "evil" and "Hitler", etc. have undoubtedly inspired any impressionable people to go this far in an attempt to eliminate such a "threat to our very democracy".

I've been sitting back watching this whole assassination attempt and keeping my mouth shut at home as my wife and her parents are diehard against Trump. My in laws were down for the weekend and I sat there quietly listening to them bash Trump not saying anything as it's not worth the fight arguing about a politician in another country. It wasn't until they started up saying "it's unfortunate the shooter missed". That's where I drew the line and they shut up and never mentioned another word. I simply said "How can you get up and go to church on Sunday pretending to be all holy Christians when you're sitting here wishing death on someone who you have never met and has never done anything to you personally?" There was silence. And they never brought up the subject again. 😒
