Running driving project cat. Located in the midwest.(54130) Delivery available. (Free to places im committed to going, im not going east at this point)

It came to me with a flat driverside rear tire. The tire is brand new. Tube was pinch flated 3x by a shop. I may have a go at a new tube but im interested in you taking on that task.

Tracks wheel guides and sprockets are all present and in working condition.
Hydraulic brakes are in unknown condition. (Pedal is on the floor)

Idles quiet and smooth. Revs quickly and appears to be the correct engine for the year. It is a single port vw.
Variator is play free and one of the best ive driven.

I will consider parting this machine out. I would do it in 4pcs.
Power pack assembly
Tracks 2 ea
body and frame

If you need a steering sheave you will have a motor and transmission with it.
i do not want to break the sub assemblies up.

Left track $2500 for entire asembly
Right track $2500
Power pack $ 2500
Body and frame $2500

The heat boxes are there (incomplete) and are incorperated into that header.

The air cleaner is here as well.

The army warming containers are not included, the battery and boat tank are not included either.

For an extra fee, tbd, i can set you up with a nice compliment of spare parts

The rack on the top is actually a portable roof top tent base and its really ingenious in its design.

Fortunately for me I don't need another project! Good old V-dubs with their heat exchangers and flappers to deliver heat to the cockpit. Primitive but works if you don't mind a little exhaust or oil stink, depending on the condition of the motor.
Besides being a relatively new snowcatter, I'm an air cooled Porscheholic, still using this heat method on my 930 Turbo.

I have a porsche engine available if thats what it takes.... its out of a kristi but porsche is a porsche. And snow tracs did have them from the factory. Im here for you.

I personally believe, for the money and fun, Snow tracs are the best machines for snow adventures

just remember no snow cat is not prefect and all require operator skills to make it look easy

and for the money, this one seems more than reasonable

just my two nuts worth...

Its from a 64 kristi. 1600 cc industrial porsche. I believe 90hp

If someone needed it it would come with a complete kt3. Its out of the machine as the transmission is getting serviced

Porsche engine, gotta be good at 90 hp. Quality stuff if well maintained.
Mine in my 930 puts out around 360 horses, might be a bit much in a cat :-)

I would be willing to give it a try
Yeah it would be a kick in the pants, when the turbo spools up and the C4 r&p disintegrates or a belt lacing rips free. But you could throw a pretty good dual rooster tail in the meantime.

Supposed to be a video with a freshly installed fan belt. Old one was shredded

So, im going nuts sitting around and resting daily. I decided maybe it would sell quicker with its spare tire installed. Its spare was an aluminum lug centered wheel. Those wheels require grommets so i spent some time on the lathe and manufactured some.
The machine now sports matching pneumatic trelleborg rears. I will be making a driving video in a hay field later this month. If your kicking the idea of owning a snow track around the *or less* part of this add is time sensitive and those words will likely evaporate. My next move will be the missing rear window.
Also. The front lights, marker lights and tail lights work as they should with some sexy after market illuminated toggle switches.

Ahhh....to have a lathe at my disposal would be awesome. But then I don't know thing one about running one. My brother spent his entire career as a machinist until COVID got him. He would have loved the snowcat action.
