Aeronca, the airplane company, Cincinnati, Ohio, had one of the engineers design and build a snow plane in 1946, constructed with a bolt on hitch and wheels so it could be towed behind a car, also has three different sets of skis, deep power, heavy snow, and a set of ski for ice, powered by a Franklin, 4 cylinder engine, prop start, the construction used many car parts, such as a Model A Ford gas gauge, late 30's Ford hydraulic shocks, cut down Model A front springs, Model T steering wheel to mention a few items, still has the original fabric and paint, it was purchased from the estate of the gentleman that designed and built it, he had a long and successful career at Aeronca till his retirement in the early 70's
