I have not been sleeping much... started feeling really crapy. Turns out my calcium level dropped which is not unusual after thyroid surgery. Just got morphine and vicodin. Got a really crapy sounding cough.

Damn nurses...some are so mean.. in here throwing shit around at 4 in the A.M. Granted I was already up but my roommie wasnt.

ANyway.. Im not 100% sure they will let me go home later today...Fingers crossed they will.. I want my own bed.. These hospital beds make for a numb ass...

That is all for now..peace out.

HAHA! You all are too funny! Love it!

Update: The surgeon came in and spoke with me this A.M. He said he took out the whole thyroid, multiple nodules and multiple englarged lymph nodes. They are being sent for pathology and I should know the results in a week when I return to see him. He said as long as my calcium level remains stable then I can go home this after noon.

UPDATE: They are making me stay in overnight due to my calcium level. It keeps dropping causing my hands to go numb. So to be on the safe side Im being kept in. There food is crapy...... yuk!

If she is in York hospital go to the snack bar and get her an order of chicken tenders. Good stuff with honey mustard sauce.

Give me a shout and I will be down there quick to straighten him out!:hammer: Have to make the drive pretty soon anyhow.

UPDATE! WEll Im still here.. my calcium still keeps dropping down into the critical zone. Today I had some nausea and almost vomited. They gave me some meds and just checked my calcium a little bit ago... now its waiting. The doc has not come in to see me yet today..

Come visit me. My water has enough calcium and magnesium to fix you right up. I cut my mag-ox dosage in half and the test were just fine. That was 3 years ago. You may have been low for a while. Hope the doc kicks you loose today. :clap:Them places drive me nuts.:hammer:

Well heck! There is some good news... The doc's not showing up so he figures you'll be fine, they don't like to lose customers!

Get well quick!

Then get in your uniform and start playing nurse! Glad she is home. Hospitals suck when you are stuck there like that.
