Anybody have a clue why the one fender on the left (sitting in machine)looks wider than the one on the right? is it me or does the left track look wider than the right?

The LH fender/track does looks wider, but is it actually an illusion? Maybe it is half of a Tracmaster and the other half is standard narrow track...
How long since it actually ran? Post more and larger pics when you can.
I was thinking the SAME thing! It is possible the right track & fender were converted to the standard Snow Trac width, while the left/drivers side track/fender are the original Trac Master wide track. Also note the hole in the hood on the driver's side. I suspect the exhaust has been re-routed a couple times and one of those times may have been up through that hole?

It looks to me that in the past ,some owner has tried to convert it into a superior Kristi KT? .Hard to tell what model for sure . Probably did this to try and sneak into my KKK club . It does look like something Mouse Ear Mike would do since he was thrown out of the club .

Thats no illusion. Those fenders are diffrent sizes. Passenger size is a Snow Trac and the drvrs side is a Snow Master. Looks like the tracs are in rough shape too. Need better pictures though. I bet he has another snow trac master somewhere. Thats where he got the other fender and variator. He must have detracked it and destroyed on of the fenders and swapped in another one from his dead vehicle. The problem is when they detrack sometimes they can twist the axle shaft. I would be careful.

Go cheap on the offer. Theres alot of work there. I would say $5,000.

I never even looked at the back ground pictures! Hes right. The frame will be all messed up for sure. The grousers will also be broke in my opinion. You need to see this thing in person! I bet there is another one somewhere on the property. It might have some good parts still on it. Plus grousers are hard to come by. It may have some as well.

After tha SAGA thing I fried him up. He was a bit tuff. But my dog still enjoyed a fried chicken dinner though.

Yep, it looks like the other Snow-trac is disassembled inside when you look close you can see parts in the back.

O.K. More pictures have arrived what a project this could be..........anyway
has not moved in awhile .... owner installed a 1600 VW engine and then he said it did not move and did not persue it any futher (mouse eared Mike's machine will look like this soon) If we purchase this I have considered transforming it to hydrostatic, since it would be a easy change over with the chain drive. but not sure the axles as they are would take the abuse.
It is a snowmaster both tracks appear to be the same width not sure what it going on with the right rear this would have to be a complete tear down and rebuild.

Track belting looks good....
Mike could use this for all of his lost parts that he cannot figure out what he has done with since the tear down.
He can also use it as an illustration of what his should not look like when it is completed and out of the circus tent...

Well its in a pretty sad state. Right rear boggie is missing. The above pictures were taken at a diffrent time period so who knows whats been done inbetween. Hard to say but is not worth more than $1500 in my opinion.

I would put it in the front yard and plant flowers around it.
Kidding ...... I've never come across any these on the east coast , I'd like to see one in running, and restored .

In her current state shes a Kristi dream come true! Every Kristi dreams of being in that good a condition. Hell even from the Kristi factory they never looked as good as this snow trac is now!

Thanks, Scooterd, How's the 1201B coming along? any photos? We have a 1200C with a Ford 300 and C-6 in the shop right now pretty much doing a complete rebuild on it. all new tires and belts. glass blasting the cab inside and out. all new 14ply tires new bearings,new deck, rebuildt the differential slaves, the differential looked brand new inside only 734 hours on the machine
took the blade and mount off not sure if we will put back on it depends were it will go some people want a blade some don't. new dash electrical. this one has the hydraulic assist steer with the 12 volt back-up steer.the two piece by-pass window one side was broke along with a cracked windsheild glass on one side so those will be new. we are making the door glass one piece.
Not sure if we will make it orange or yellow yet.............we do so many Bombardier's the yellow kind of grows on you.

I have an extra 6 way control valve for the factory blade that mounts on the the dash and a few other parts if you decide to put the blade back on and need a control valve. It is the factory single lever T handle control valve. Sounds like you are doing this one up right. I might possibly consider trading you one of my cats such as the VMC, BR100+ or maybe a Snotrac for a good Spryte with a 6 way blade. Of course I would also expect the usual billion dollars to boot....
Looks like you are bringing it back to life from the scrap pile. I would like to see this one when you are done. Let me know when it is suitable for viewing....

MTNTopper so what color do you want it. Yellow or Orange ? This is pretty much the same as the last one we sold to Bill Guthurie. I think you saw that one. of course the year of that one was newer and for some strange reason had 4 axles not the standard 5. this one has the T handle and the six way blade and two rear hydraulic circuits now.

It also looks like the old equipment trailer has a mother-lode of ST-30A drive spockets sitting on it.

Bill, Here is a little eye candy, You did say you wanted it in Yellow right? I really did not think you would trade the FBI rig and the BR-100 plus for the
very premo 1200C with hydraulic steer. Once again the crap that people said about you was all wrong.
