The left losing its shit over this is beyond childish. I spent the bulk of my professional life on the air in radio. My reply couldn’t have been easier, had it ever been required:

On Monday I did 10 or so live reads during my show that made the company money. After my air shift, I hopped into a production room and produced a handful of commercials that made the company money. Rinse, wash & repeat Tues-Fri.

Anyone taking money as compensation for their labors who can't produce a similar summary should grow up & get a real job.

Yeah, it really is pretty ridiculous. Everyone from truck drivers to attorneys have to account for their hours let alone 5 tasks in a week

For anyone working hard, as they should be, the hardest part would be narrowing the list down to only five things.

No kidding, I’ve been at home with a sick kid and could list five things and it’s only noon. And honestly they only need to have four, the fifth could be the same for everyone, “responded to this email request “. In reality that one alone would be all he’s looking for, just any response from a human to prove that you exist.

It would take me 8 hours to pull the data and write it up over a couple days
for the stuff that didn't get done I included amendments to list where they were with full documentation of were we were and what the holdup was be it not enough down time or manpower or money allocation.

My boss asked me if he could use mine for example of how he wanted it done.
I told I'd rather he morph it in to his document because of the other planners weren't as computer savvy and didn't keep electronic notes like I did he did it that way to make small steps as he called it

All of that is quite standard for many jobs in the commercial sector. Government jobs, however, consist of a high percentage of people who've decided either before or after they got the job to do as little as possible, and because other like-minded government workers make the rules, they've carved out their own little fiefdom in the kingdom of Lazy. And all at taxpayer expense.
